Welcome back.
This is the TMG Diary Series. Here, we explore the lives of people across the globe, who have kindly shared their stories with us for a special #Covid19 series.  This is the second story in our series by Naomi Archer-Paget. If you missed the first story, you can view it here.

This is Naomi Archer-Paget.

She’s a Nurse Aid by trade but has recently been working as a full-time, stay-at-home Mom.

Travelling from Trinidad to Leicester, this is what she had to say:

“I am learning that family and close friends are so important, and during this time, I’ve realised that I take a lot of things for granted. Things such as having a lovely home with a back garden that I am able to enjoy freely, seeing I was not able to go out during lockdown. One of the biggest changes I feel that I need to make is to spend more time with the people I love.

I’ve been inspired by the community spirit #Covid19 has brought out in us, and I’m looking out for my neighbours more than before, especially those that are elderly and on their own”.

We asked Naomi three things she was thankful for:

  • My Home
  • My Family
  • My Friends

Without them, I don’t know what I would have done to get through these days during lockdown.
